Dorothy Heights Celebration 2024

Our Annual Dorothy Height Day celebration in partnership with the Richmond Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. themed “Celebrating the Vote: The Life and Legacy of Dr. Dorothy I. Height” was held at the Hull Street Library, 1400 Hull Street, Richmond, Virginia.  The celebration included a brief program at the historic marker outside the library as we say ‘Happy Birthday Dr. Height!” Local elected officials, leaders of the YWCA, and other guests  gathered to reflect on the life and legacy of Dorothy Height.  We also conducted a voter registration drive in partnership with the Richmond Public Library in honor of her legacy.
